Our client is a truly unique and prestigious company offering its goods and services to the World’s HNWIs. The brand is synonymous with British heritage and luxury and is admired throughout the world.

Due to a departure in the legal team, we are seeking a senior commercial lawyer to come in and lead on all negotiations and contract drafting for the business. You will be handling everything from the standard BAUs agreements to bespoke arrangements with international designers, celebrities, and other leading brands to forge one-off collaborations.

We are seeking an individual who has at least 6 years of experience negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements. You must be comfortable working autonomously to prepare one-off agreements and find legal commercial solutions to new arrangements. Knowledge of distribution agreements would be particularly useful, and a broader understanding of IP and competition law would be advantageous.

You must be confident and credible and able to work closely with senior stakeholders in the business. Due to the clientele of the business, you will need to be self-assured and have gravitas so you are not fazed by who might be across the table. The role will involve mentoring a less experienced lawyer, although you will not have line management responsibilities.
