With an exceptional reputation in the FS sector and a strong commercial offering our law firm client is looking to add a further commercial partner to the team who has experience of advising FS clients.

This is an exciting opportunity and one which could result in leading and shaping the firm’s FS Commercial practice. You will be at the forefront of driving the team to take further advantage of existing client relationships and building out the firm’s offering in the sector.

You are likely to be a highly experienced commercial lawyer who has been immersed in the FS sector and with a range of technical skills which could cover areas such as payments, data, cyber, complex IT and outsourcing. Such is the potential for exploiting existing client relationships, a firm “following” is going to be less important here, but obviously a solid network in the sector will give the firm confidence around your business development skills. One of the key aspects to the role will be working with senior management to help shape and grow this practice area, so an interest in leading, and also developing strategy will be as important as BD expertise.
