Our client has a strong technology focus across its transactional teams. It is looking for an additional commercial partner who is comfortable undertaking the full suite of commercial contracts work, but also ideally has expertise advising early-stage technology businesses.

This firm has been kept exceptionally busy across all its transactional teams and especially with a corporate commercial department that has long focused on the tech sector in the start-up, scale up and small to mid-cap market. The team are now looking for an additional commercial partner; ideally someone with their own network and business contacts and with a genuine interest in the tech sector; acting for IP rich businesses who require legal infrastructure as they grow and develop.

The partners understand that all commercial lawyers are dependent to some extent on work being cross referred internally and feel that any lateral will gain the benefit of the significant amount of additional commercial work spinning out of a busy corporate transactional department.

The partners will consider a range of candidates; existing partners, those on the cusp of partnership and also lawyers returning from senior in house roles. The firm has a great brand in the market and punches significantly above its weight so represents an established, profitable and stable platform for any lateral partner.
