The HoD is particularly interested in talking to established partners or those on the cusp of partnership who have an emerging/fast growth companies practice – whether this includes contacts with family offices, management teams, private capital, VC or PE funds. The firm is well placed to help grow this team, with European and US offices, and corresponding access to capital, and a willingness to expand further. Its chosen sector specialities in area such as tech, pharma and digital also benefit this practice.
You will also benefit from a full service firm that can provide all the necessary support for these sort of deals. Network and following are likely to be important here, and this will inevitably determine entry level into the partnership and comp.
