We are working with a dynamic and exciting boutique law firm that is dedicated to the built environment and technology sectors (and the interplay between the two).  It has seized the moment of growth in this area and the firm continues to thrive with new clients and projects coming onboard.

To support this increased demand in work we are seeking a consultant lawyer to work with the firm on an hourly rate basis.  The work can be undertaken outside of IR35, through your own PSC, and fully remotely, although there is a London office if you enjoy the hybrid model.

We are keen to hear from mid and senior lawyers who are working as a consultant, or about to launch into this model.  You do not have to bring a client following, just yourself, your expertise and capacity to work!

We are seeking a lawyer with experience of negotiating and drafting a wide range of construction and infrastructure contracts.   If you have any specific experience of the built environment this would be highly advantageous, but it is not essential.  Ideally you will have trained in a UK based law firm and gained some private practice experience before moving in-house.  A few years of supporting in-house teams before moving to consultancy would be the perfect career trajectory, although we understand not everyone follows the same path.

You must be a reliable and robust lawyer who enjoys working autonomously and supporting clients. The work is interesting and challenging and the firm needs to be able to rely on its consultants to deliver the very best service. There is an opportunity for this to develop into a permanent and/or long term career if you desired.
