We are delighted to be working with a global construction and property management consultancy, with a focus on the Built Environment.  With over 1500 employees across 32 countries the business is able to deliver exceptional services to exciting projects internationally.

The UK business has been growing and they need to hire a Legal and Risk Manager to support the Commercial and Technical Director.  This is a brand new role so it present an exciting opportunity to help create and establish new policies and procedures.  As well as working with the Directors you will provide reports to the Board and work closely with the business on bids, new projects and BAU.

The role will encompass a wide range of legal issues including commercial contracts, both general commercial and construction industry specific, assessing risk, insurance and PI coverage, horizon scanning and many more day-to-day issues that typically fall across the desk of in-house legal counsel.

We are seeking a bright, focused and confident individual who is keen to take on this sole counsel role and drive it forward.  This is a fantastic opportunity to create and shape and legal function, working alongside, and with the support of, senor stakeholders.  The role reports to the Commercial Director.  The position will suit somebody who is intelligent, quick thinking, able to deal with a varied workload and is able to manage their own time effectively.  You will need to be resourceful and robust and must be able to deliver work to a high standard.
