My client is keen to talk to established M&A/ECM partners who have a network amongst the AIM, Main market community/brokers. You will need to have a following of some sorts to indicate your profile, and also a track record of ECM work. The firm/corporate department are well placed in the mid-cap market and with all the necessary infrastructure in terms of supporting legal disciplines. Sector and Location agnostic, to a degree, but an exposure to heathcare, tech, FS would be helpful. There will be internal work to pick up in due course, plenty of excellent clients to go at, but pro tem, you will need to generate your own transactional work.
