We are acting for an award-winning national firm seeking an additional planning partner to join the team.

With an established planning presence across the UK and strong support from substantial real estate and corporate departments the team is busy across areas such as CPO, S.106, Highways, Infrastructure and strategic land. And, with a growing presence in the renewable and clean energy sector, there is also interest in individuals who have had exposure to more substantial energy projects. The department is also underpinned by a stellar property development practice which ensures a steady flow of internal instructions.

The current team are well structured and crucially have good support from an able associate cohort. The Partners are really down to earth and well-rounded people with a strong eye on BD and marketing. So, they will look for senior lawyers who will fit in culturally and also who can talk to a network of contacts, multipliers and referrers.

The firm has greatly enhanced both turnover and profits in recent years and has plenty of experience of integrating lateral hires and ensuring they are suitably supported and absorbed into the fabric of the firm. It can offer a mature and autonomous platform for those partners who are looking for the further support required to build and develop their own practice.
