Our national law firm client has been busy in the lateral market and has recently added bench strength in both corporate energy and project development. Undoubtedly Energy and particularly renewables is one of the Firm’s stand out success stories over the last 5 years and the highly respected HoD is now looking to add a further project finance partner to the team.

The team and individuals are ranked highly in the directories and have a strong profile, particularly in the UK mid-market, with clients on both lender and borrower side and long standing panel relationships.

The HoD is continuing to look for existing partners from peer group City firms with project finance skill set. The priorities for this hire are:

A clear focus on the renewables and wider energy sector
Experience of the UK market
An established senior lawyer with a strong profile in the sector
An extensive network of contacts and, accordingly, ideally a following of c£500,000+
An ability to blend into a positive, ambitious and hard-working culture.

The department is well regarded and supported internally, an engine for growth, and works on an increasing number of projects across the full range within the renewable energy sector.
