Our client is a leading international law firm with offices in over 40 countries and multiple offices across the UK. It is an exciting and dynamic business which is a market leader and internationally recognised.

We are working on a fantastic opportunity for a senior legal counsel with conflicts experience to join the in-house in the legal team. The role will work closely with senior leaders and the Executive team of the firm, as well as the wider risk & compliance team. You will need to identify, understand and explain risks arising from the most complex and challenging conflicts.

You will be a trusted advisor to the firm and will need to be able to balance the technical regulatory and compliance requirements with a strong a commercial approach. The business leaders will be looking to you for solutions and problem-solving while mitigating risk.

We are seeking a lawyer with a solid understanding of client conflict issues in a law firm or professional services environment. Ideally you will have advised on the US conflict rules, as well as UK and other key legal jurisdictions.

You will be reporting to the Head of Business Intake and working alongside lawyers in the wider legal, risk & compliance function. It is staffed by exceptional lawyers, and you will be given support and training as needed to excel in this role. Due to the current structure this opportunity poses a fantastic chance to move into a leadership role in time and we are seeking an individual who is passionate and committed to this area of business intake.
